By requesting a quote, submitting a form, booking a delivery, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

We may arrange deliveries using independent courier drivers, subcontractors, or transport partners where required.

2. Quotes

All courier and transport jobs are quoted individually.

Prices may depend on:

  • Collection and delivery locations

  • Distance

  • Vehicle type

  • Item size and weight

  • Urgency

  • Collection and delivery times

  • Waiting time

  • Loading or unloading requirements

  • Special handling requirements

  • Driver availability

A quote is not confirmed until accepted by Nimbus Connect.

3. Bookings

Submitting a quote request or enquiry form does not confirm a booking.

A booking is only confirmed when:

  • We have reviewed the delivery details

  • Availability has been confirmed

  • The price has been agreed

  • The job has been accepted by Nimbus Connect

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a job where we cannot safely, legally, or reasonably complete the delivery.

4. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information, including:

  • Collection address and contact details

  • Delivery address and contact details

  • Item description

  • Item size and weight

  • Delivery deadline

  • Access information

  • Loading or unloading requirements

  • Any fragile, valuable, restricted, or special handling details

Nimbus Connect is not responsible for delays, failed collections, failed deliveries, or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

5. Goods we may not carry

We may refuse to carry goods that are illegal, unsafe, dangerous, prohibited, restricted, or unsuitable for courier transport.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Illegal items

  • Hazardous materials

  • Explosives

  • Firearms or weapons

  • Controlled substances

  • Perishable goods without prior agreement

  • Live animals

  • Cash or high-value items without prior agreement

  • Fragile items not properly packaged

You must tell us in advance if an item is fragile, valuable, sensitive, heavy, oversized, or requires special handling.

6. Packaging

You are responsible for ensuring goods are properly packaged and suitable for transport.

Nimbus Connect is not responsible for damage caused by poor packaging, unsuitable packaging, or failure to disclose fragile or special handling requirements.

7. Collection and delivery times

We aim to meet agreed collection and delivery times wherever possible.

However, times may be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, vehicle issues, access problems, delays at collection or delivery points, or other circumstances outside our control.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

8. Waiting time and additional charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Waiting time at collection or delivery

  • Incorrect addresses

  • Failed collections or deliveries

  • Extra mileage

  • Additional stops

  • Parking charges

  • Congestion charges, tolls, ferry charges, or clean air zone charges

  • Loading or unloading delays

  • Changes to the job after confirmation

Any additional charges will be confirmed where reasonably possible.

9. Cancellations

If you cancel a confirmed booking, cancellation charges may apply depending on the timing of cancellation and whether a driver has already been assigned or dispatched.

Nimbus Connect may cancel a booking if the delivery cannot be completed safely, legally, or reasonably.

10. Subcontractors and driver partners

Nimbus Connect may use self-employed drivers, subcontractors, or third-party courier partners to complete deliveries.

We take reasonable steps to work with reliable drivers and transport partners, but subcontracted drivers remain independent operators.

11. Liability

Nimbus Connect will take reasonable care when arranging and handling delivery services.

However, we are not liable for:

  • Loss or damage caused by poor packaging

  • Incorrect or incomplete customer information

  • Delays outside our reasonable control

  • Failed access at collection or delivery

  • Items not disclosed as fragile, valuable, restricted, or requiring special handling

  • Indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or consequential loss

Our liability may be limited to the amount paid for the delivery service unless otherwise required by law.

12. Insurance

Drivers or transport partners may hold goods in transit insurance where applicable.

If your goods are valuable, fragile, sensitive, or require specific insurance coverage, you must tell us before booking.

You may be advised to arrange your own insurance for high-value or sensitive items.

13. Payment

Payment terms will be agreed before the job is confirmed.

Payment may be required before collection, on booking, or according to agreed business account terms.

Late payments may result in delayed service, cancelled bookings, or further recovery action.

14. Driver applications

Drivers who submit details through the “Drive With Us” page are applying to be considered for subcontract opportunities.

Submitting an application does not guarantee work and does not create an employment relationship with Nimbus Connect.

Nimbus Connect may contact suitable drivers when relevant subcontract opportunities become available.

15. Website use

You must not misuse this website, attempt to interfere with its operation, submit false information, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

We may update or remove website content at any time.

16. Privacy
